MISTY MILLER

The prodigiously-talented MISTY MILLER, 16, mesmerised us at the City Screen Basement in York recently and is here sooner rather than later because we think she's going to be H-U-G-E. Not only an accomplished writer and ukulele player but also a great singer, she's the missing link between LAURA MARLING and MUMFORD & SONS...and will be filed next to Ms Marling, ALESSI'S ARK, KATIE MELUA, POLLY SCATTERGOOD, AMY MACDONALD and RUMER (though we could even hear MARILYN MONROE somewhere in the mix).
